Program Overview
The Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) Statewide Educational Institute is an annual conference that brings together family court services directors and supervisors, family and juvenile dependency mediators, and child custody evaluators for continuing education and skill building. Topics may include legal issues, current research, and effective practices related to mediation and evaluation. The Administrative Office of the Courts, Center for Families, Children & the Courts (CFCC) and its FDR unit are continuing their collaboration with the AOC Education Division/Center for Judicial Education and Research (CJER), which is holding its Family Law Institute during the same week. Joint sessions with the Family Law Institute will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008.

Private practice professionals may attend for a fee of $200 on a first come, first served basis (limited availability).

The FDR Statewide Institute will be held at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. The hotel is located near the heart of Orange County, and John Wayne Airport is 20 minutes away from the conference location.
